Stress management training
at One attended Arthrex UK in Sheffield earlier this week to train staff about stress management. Our stress management training was a hit with staff, and they left their session feeling invigorated and with resolutions about how they would manage their future stressors.
Held over three days, 15 staff members learned stress management tips and had the opportunity to practice under the guidance of stress management consultant Lubna Latif.
Lubna created a safe environment, and as a consequence, we heard some compelling life events from staff about their own stressors and how they had been impacted by them. It was an ideal opportunity for staff to learn via peer group support and lively discussions.
During the stress management course, staff learnt more about what causes them stress and how our bodies react to stress—understanding the physiology of stress. Staff were taught some proven stress management tips and techniques, which many said helped them to relax. Some staff said that they felt more energised than after a night’s sleep in bed.
Our corporate stress management training is an excellent opportunity for staff to ask questions of trainer Lubna Latif, who has a degree in Psychology and over ten years of experience improving health and well-being.
Staff all said they would recommend our stress course, and we look forward to attending in the New Year to offer a refresher for staff.
